DESCRIPTION:Inspired by the new Film and Multimedia Production Certificate 
 launching this fall at El Paso Community College\, the next generation of 
 border filmmakers will present their work at this inaugural student film s
 howcase featuring work by El Paso Community College and University of Texa
 s at El Paso student filmmakers. The new program features award-winning st
 udent works from film festivals held on both institutions’ campuses\, cu
 rated into an 90-minute program and complemented by a conversation with fa
 culty and students after the program. This is the first in what we hope wi
 ll become an annual Plaza Classic tradition. The films and filmmakers are:
